This beautiful red and black themed Renaissance by the Creek wedding in Etobicoke was elegant and fun. Danielle and Reid had a huge wedding party, a ton of friends that support them and one hell of a party. So let’s start at the beginning. Danielle began getting ready at her beautiful parent’s house. Full of natural light, it made it a breeze to capture gorgeous portraits and candids of her early morning. Unfortunately, that day, we were running late, and even though I got to play with some beautiful doggies, we had to leave. This is why having a second photographer is really useful. We were able to capture lots of candids of guests at the ceremony location: Islington United Church.
We were so late, the wedding almost had to be cancelled. Hiring someone professional is so crucial when things like these happen. All the moments at the church that you see happened within a 10 minute timeframe. After the ceremony we headed to do the formal portrait at James Gardens. One of the most beautiful gardens in Toronto, this place is perfect come spring, summer or fall. I absolutely love nature for portraits, and a garden like this really sets the setting for a whimsical feel. Danielle and Reid were so happy, and we managed to get some amazing images.
Renaissance by the creek was a perfect spot for a wedding. Small, intimate but a great space for a great party. I honestly can recommend this place for a good time.
