When I connected with Christina & Raffaele we began by discussing where to do their Muskoka Winter Session. They then told me they have a cottage in Muskoka and would absolutely love to have their photos there. Well, there were no questions where we would do it after that. These two go to their cottage almost every weekend from Toronto, and when they don’t they rent it out to others through Air BnB. So this place holds a very special place for them and shooting this winter session in Muskoka couldn’t be more romantic.
We started indoors where they told me about their cottage. Its long family history. The dad has kept the cottage and maintained it for many years. The times their friends have come and had a great time. Having all these memories, definitely made this session even more special. We began the session by getting them to snuggle on the couch and have some amazing laughs. It is always amazing as a Muskoka Portrait Photographer to see and capture the closeness and intimacy of a relationship. After the cozy and cuddly indoor portion of the shoot. We headed outside. Their cottage is full of small and intimate spots. Their porch overlooks the river that goes through Muskoka. Currently, it’s frozen though but the perfect backdrop for this Muskoka Winter Session.
