I absolutely loved shooting Andria and Daryls Romantic Ukranian Wedding in Toronto. There were so many details involved in this wedding. From a first look, to beautiful churches, to amazing reception decor, and special dances. This Toronto wedding was just to die for. These two love birds have been together for some time and decided to tie the knot. They chose a beautiful sunny summer wedding, with gorgeous hues of white, purples and golds.
We started this day at the groom’s house. My trusty second shooter got some amazing shots of the groomsmen hanging out and playing some videogames. Meanwhile, at the bride’s house, the makeup game was on. So many beautiful details from a lush and soft bouquet, to a gorgeous satin wedding dress. Photographing a bride getting ready is truly special. There are so many emotions going on. Right after we did the first look at a nearby park, where the groom’s reaction was just priceless. I get all the feels when grooms show emotion.
As part of the Ukranian celebrations there was a small blessing at their home, before proceeding to going back to the park and doing all the family and wedding party photos. This party was very large and very fun. We did some gorgeous photos. Afterwards, we went to the most beautiful church I have ever been, St. Peter and Paul’s Ukranian Catholic Church. The colors in that church were insane.
Afterwards was the reception. This Toronto Ukranian wedding was a lot of fun. From the entrances, to the speeches, to special Ukranian Dances, first dance, a live band. I mean what more can you ask for. This wedding was just perfect. I loved photographing all the moments and can’t wait to shoot more.
